Welcome to the virtual visiting area of the 6^th State Garden Festival 2012 in Löbau. We would like to give you our thanks and are pleased to see that already now you would like to inform yourself about this significant venture the town of Löbau has planned.

In December 2007 we have, with big joy, taken up the decision of the state government of Saxony to give the State Garden Festival to Löbau. On the 23rd April, 2010, I, together with our Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich turned the first sod to get the big project underway. On this occasion it became clear once more that there are many inhabitants who see the changes the garden festival brings with it as a chance for development for Löbau and would like to participate in the progress themselves.

It is our purpose to make you aware of the creational changes of the 6^th State Garden Festival, and to therefore give you the possibility to accompany us on the way of realizing this concept.

In the beginning you might not find all the information which you are looking for, but we would like to keep you updated on the progress of the garden festival and continuously add new information to our homepage.

 

With the occupation of the vast fallow sites we will succeed in closing a definite wound in the townscape of Löbau, and you will be present when we realize our basic principle „ on short way into the countryside … “, by making a connection from our lovely city centre with Mount Löbau.
